The Health Of Our Employees Is Paramount

We are committed to managing the health of all employees and visitors. We comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993. Every employee undergoes pre-employment medicals, periodic and exit medicals. Risk profile assessments are done for every employee to determine the risks associated with their specific job requirements, health risk assessment and occupational hygiene, monitoring surveys are conducted on a regular basis.
As part of our ongoing strategic initiatives, Alfeco fully embraces its sustainable responsibility in becoming a model corporate citizen. Various ongoing programmes are underway to reduce and/or improve our manufacturing processes in order to reduce water consumption, recycle and reuse water, reduce emissions, repurpose waste streams and increase the effective recycling of our input raw material.

This is a process done in tandem with installing energy-efficient technologies that accelerate our process optimisation, and help us focus on waste and water management, emissions and other environmentally friendly alternatives that aid in reducing our carbon footprint.
